UT572 digunakan untuk mengukur resistansi bumi dan resistivitas tanah. Alat ini dapat secara otomatis memeriksa koneksi antarmuka dan mendeteksi tegangan/frekuensi interferensi, dengan fungsi penyimpanan data dan indikasi. Alat ini dapat melakukan pengukuran 2/3/4-kawat untuk berbagai aplikasi di lokasi, seperti kabel peralatan listrik dan peralatan proteksi petir.
